Play Card League Baseball in 3 Simple Steps

  • Step #1: Pitch Roll

    First, the Team on Defense (in the field) throws the "Pitch Roll"

    • If result is ODD (1, 3, 5), then Team on Offense (batting) will get to roll the dice in Step #2.
    • If result is EVEN (2, 4, 6), then Team on Defense (in the field) will get to roll the dice in Step #2.

  • Step #2: Action Roll

    Winner of Step #1 throws the "Action Roll" to decide how the Cards move around the field game mat!

    • This creates the main action within the game.
    • Go until you record 3 Outs or reach an optional Run Limit per half-inning.

  • Step #3: Repeat!

    Switch your Teams back and forth between Offense and Defense (batting and playing in the field) until you reach the end of the game!

    • 9 Innings or however many you want.
    • Follow the game play rules in the Official Card League Baseball Rule Book (included)

Is the Game Hard to Play?

No! The main goal of Card League Baseball is to be easy for both Kids and Adults to play! If you are looking for a complex, deep-thought strategy game, this is not it.

However, if you want a fun and simple, fast-paced game where anyone has a shot at winning -- and you love baseball -- then this is definitely the right game for you!

What Ages Can Play the Game?

Card League Baseball is intended for Ages 6 and up!

*Note: the game does contain small pieces, so please keep it out of the reach of children under Age 3.

How Long Does Shipping Take?

My Field Game Mat Has Creases, How Do I Fix It?

If your field game mat arrived with creases from folding, you can try using a hand-steamer and this should smooth it right out!

If you don't have a hand-steamer you can try using a cool iron, or toss it in the dryer on the lowest setting.
